When the going gets rough for me, I usually get disorganized and start losing things. That's my indication that I need to stop and re-evaluate where I am and make some new decisions about how to proceed. Or else I give up and watch tv - haha! Abby doesn't have that option. She has to make decisions to solve each problem all by herself. Abby is safe and she is fine. She has an issue with her boat but it is right side up. As hard as it is to wrap my arms around the concept of a 16 year old girl sailing around the world ALONE, I have to say that this young woman is very brave and adventurous. Important life traits and survivor skills to deal with the ways of the world.
