I shared this with a male who I care about. Yes… a male who deserves to feel empowered, too.
Thanks, Susan.
Absolutely Dina!
Everyone deserves to feel empowered and good about themselves!
How about: “I am valuable. I AM worth it and I DO deserve it.”
These are wonderful Susan and I believe that where ever we are in life we can always use these just to keep us in balance.
You never know when one of those rough days will come and we need a little inspiration and reminder of how important and good we are.
Thank you for the reminder, i was having one of those days. Now I’m not.

Wow. My mind had been overflowing with negative self-talk and i suffered through chronic depression for so many years, it was ruining my life. About a year ago I started to come out of the depression and realized that I needed to change my way of thinking. But it was hard for me to break the habit of the negative self-talk and worrying constantly what others thought of me. Finally I bit the bullet and did something I had always wanted to do- I got some piercings and a tattoo on my forearm that reads “Embrace Truth” so that it would be a constant reminder of the truth- I’m NOT a loser, I DO count, and I am beautiful and wonderful and worthy! I’ve been empowered ever since and have inspired others. It’s the best thing I could have done and I’m so glad I did!
This is a great list, Susan, and sometimes we all need to be reminded of how wonderful we really are. I’m so glad that you posted and shared these affirmations. I will say them to myself everyday. Thanks for the inspiration (and I love the journal too).
Many blessings to you!
Thanks for your “reminder” list Susan. I’ve seen something like it before, but continue to struggle with believing it and reminding myself of using it. Perhaps it will “hit a nerve” this time?!
I was very touched by the posting from “Melanie”. I can so feel her pain, though I don’t know if I would be strong enough for a tattoo! Congrats to her. I just pray each day that I don’t give up “trying” to find that something that’s going to help me get to the top.
Thanks Susan, I put your list on the wall by my desk and I’ve shared it with everyone I love. (-:
