You may not know this, but I’m the second of five children! And, the first weekend of December, my youngest sister visited from Georgia. What a treat! We explored our local hiking trails, had a wonderful time with other family and friends and just, well, enjoyed being together.
This time of year I am always reminded of how blessed I am to have such wonderful people in my life. And, isn’t that what this time of year is all about? Connecting with family and friends, sharing in fellowship, giving and receiving from one another? It’s amazing that even though my youngest sister and I live far a part, we can immediately reconnect as if we lived next door to one another. What a special gift.
During this holiday season, take some time to reconnect with the special people in your life. Put aside your “ToDo” and “HaveTo” lists for a few moments so you can enjoy family and friends TODAY. This is how memories are made and life long communities are formed.
From all of us at ALC, we wish you an abundant holiday season surrounded by those you love! And, here’s to a FABulous 2009 and amazing connections in the year ahead!
