What I normally do when I am busy and need a moment of present is what I think you (Susan) call belly breathing.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth with a little pause in the middle to feel all that air in my belly and lungs. If I repeat this a couple of times I get present no matter where I am.</description>

		<description>Being in the now is something I struggle with, as a natural planner I&#039;m always finding myself thinking about the future.  One thing I have noticed that helps is being in nature, watching the way the wind rustles through the leaves on the trees, feeling the breeze caress your skin, the sun on your back,  watching and listening to the birds, noticing the beauty and delicacy of a flower. Taking a moment to be in awe and gratitude of creation and the joy that everyday things can bring.</description>

		<description>I just tried this and felt VERY peaceful while blues  music was playing in the background on the satellite radio. I became oblivious to the music though and concentrated on what I was physically doing and got a little giddy even just hanging there.

Normally when I try to get present, I have to have complete quiet. I see that this isn&#039;t really necessary...my intention can take me there with music/noise/distractions regardless. :D</description>
