Coaching Tip to Shake off the Lazies

Got the Lazies?
Many women want to feel committed to exercising, yet often feel too tired and unmotivated to begin. It sure can be challenging to get up and at ‘em in the morning and/or to get off the sofa and exercise when all you want to do is relax at the end of the day.
Yet, getting started really is the most difficult part and once you move past it, you will be off and running in no time.
The next time you have the inclination that it’s time to get yourself going, instead of sinking back into that sofa…
- GET UP and SHAKE your body… literally. Get on your feet and start jiggling your body!
- Jump up and down!
- Wiggle!
- Swing your arms so hard that they smack you back!
- Smile! Giggle! Laugh!
- Take some deep breaths.
- Recite your Truth Affirmations (e.g., This is so good for me, I love my body, This feels really good, I’m ready for some fun…)
- You know what to do next…
And remember, one of the benefits of regular physical activity is that it increases your level of energy. By staying committed to regular activity, the “lazies” will soon be a thing of the past.

That is good Susan. I just had a visual with that one. I didn’t get up and jump and shake yet but I was sure laughing. Does that count, because laughter is good for the soul and the body?
I have to say Susan you can really come up with some good ones. Thanks
Debbie
