“I’ve learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.” – Maya Angelou
What is your biggest life challenge at the moment? I posed this question to my readers and received some diverse and interesting answers.
- “Prepping for college,”
- “Trying to start all over back where I lost it all,” and
- “My relationship or lack thereof”
were just a few responses that showed individuals who are clearly concerned about where their lives are headed.
So, are you, much like myself and Aspire Life Coaching.org clients and readers, facing your own challenges right now? With every age and stage comes its own rites of passage, hurdles and milestones. Sometimes, the goals we set for ourselves, and the obstacles we face, can seem monumental. But the truth is that what seems like a unbearable burden or insurmountable block today, will one day become a personal victory – a fond memory to look back on… just another colorful piece in the patchwork of your life.
When you think about your goals and dreams… are you filled with hope and purpose? Or is it more like anxiety and dread? Putting ourselves through tough challenges is part of life, and growing as a person. They require that we reach deep within to find that place of wisdom… that inner knowing which you can trust to carry you through hard times.
Both in my coaching practice and in my own life, I call upon Truth Affirmations™ to help bring about self empowerment as a means of achieving goals and overcoming challenges. This begins with trusting that you are upheld and supported by a higher power. It is the recognition that within yourself, you possess the intelligence, strength and unique skills needed to get through this or any important phase of your life.
So let’s start with some personal Truth Affirmations™ about you. Truth Affirmations are short, simple, affirming statements that you can pull out when you need some personal reassurance and to tap that inner knowing and strength.
Create you own list of Truth Affirmations about you. To figure out what your Truth Affirmations will be, first take some time to seek answers from within yourself, to the questions below.

Next, use your thoughts about the above to write some short, simple, positive statements about you. For example: I am intelligent, I can accomplish anything, Step by step wins the race… These simple Truth Affirmations, on the tip of your tongue, will take you a long way to increasing your confidence and empowerment level.

Just received some information about Coach Susans wellness weekend in SF area. Is there any plans in the future for this in East Bay RI? I certainly would have loved to attend something. I love Susans style. I am 49, divorced after 21 tumultoulous years with 3 grown children and one 13 year old boy. I recently decided to pursue a life long dream of moving to Florida. But my boy doesnt want to come. BEcause of the way I was reared as a child, this has set me back. I seem to be coming around again Are there any woman out there who’ve left there children to move to another state and feel this guilt?
