Below are your responses to the question, “What typically triggers you into procrastinating?”
- laziness!
- not enough time
- facebook lol
- laziness, lack of motivation
- Stopping to watch TV, the computer, fatigue, boredom.
- Fatigue. Usually, due to not getting enough sleep, not enough rest between workouts, or not eating properly.
- Wow, what doesn’t? Tired because of procrastinating on taking care of myself, being a perfectionist on things that don’t really matter instead of doing those that do, forgetting about the feelings that will accompany the end results, etc, etc, etc
- Being overwhelmed with all that is wrong and not knowing where the heck to start…. that usually does it.Lack of desire
- Not wanting to do something. Especially if it’s a toleration.
- Fear
- Facebook!
- Not organizing time well!
- Chaotic environment/ surroundings.
- girls just wanna have fun !
- something i want to avoid or am not really good at
- getting totally overwhelmed with to much to do or feeling inner fear that somehow I will not do it “right”
- Feeling as if what needs to get done is too big to accomplish. Once I can break it down into manageable chunks I’ll usually get started.
- Give me a minute…
- Overwhelm
- perfect time to ask me this. When I have bills to be paid by today and not sure how the money is going to manifest in time. My mind gets all boggled up and thoughts go all different directions
- having something big due…I don’t want to think about it and think about it…so I stop thinking and procrastinate. Then I pay for it later…lol
- well i have been procrastinating going through my mail for the last 3 weeks. its still piling up.
- Feelings of not having enough money…
- anxiety.
- feeling overwhelmed and confused. and thinking *why bother?*
- “I can’t think about it now. I’ll go crazy if I do. I’ll think about it tomorrow!!”- Scarlett O’Hara
- LOL One of my favorite quotes!
- Having to write up a performance appraisal.
- The thought of the time it will take to accomplish the task.
- Not having enough to do. When I have more to do, I know I need to stay on top of things. When I don’t, I tend to procrastinate more.
- The heat in Arizona LOL
- Oddly enough, procrastinating. Once I get lazy, it feeds on itself.
- A new book or magazine I want to read.
- perfectionism…”Wait, I’m not ready!!!”
- Self doubt gets me every time!
- Facebook. Hahahaha
- Feeling overwhelmed is one thing that triggers procrastination for me. Fear of discomfort or messing up will also do it.
- Finances…
- Fear…….
- Sometimes fear of the outcome. Most of the time because I just really don’t want to do it, my heart just isn’t in it.
- Fibromyalgia pains and aches! hehe xo ^~^
- Wanting to do so many other things that are more fun than what I should be doing ! YIKES ! This is how I live until I have to kick into gear!

Prioritizing, breaking tasks down into small steps, making a list, rewarding myself for getting something done.
Just wanted to say that I appreciate your mailings, especially “the lists”, like the current one with acts of kindness.
I also love these bears illustrating procratination.
Keep doing your fine work…and thank you.
